How to delete your account

You should not have to email a stranger to leave. You type DELETE. That is the product.

Do it in the app

Open Account. Choose the delete path. Type DELETE. That is the self-serve control. There is no website button that remotely wipes an iPhone account, and there is no need to invent a reason for a form.

You need access to the signed-in iPhone to do this yourself.
If you cannot open the app, email support@helpme.fyi — a person reads it.
Deleting an account is not the same as blocking one person. Use block for a person. Use delete for you.

What deletion is for

You are done with the product. You want your login gone. You do not want leftover requests attached to a person. It is not a panic button — if you are in danger, 911 first, then worry about accounts.

If you only wanted a pause

Helpers can go offline. You can not post. You do not have to delete to have a quiet month. Delete when you mean it.

Can I delete from this website?

No. Delete from Account in the iPhone app by typing DELETE. If you are locked out, email support@helpme.fyi.

Does deleting cancel a live request?

Do not rely on deletion as an emergency exit from a meet. Leave the place, call 911 if needed, report and block, then deal with the account.
