Official help, listed on purpose
If you are in danger, call 911. These pages exist so a neighbor app never becomes the place people look for an ambulance, a shelter bed, or a police officer.
Use this directory when the app is the wrong tool
Help Me is everyday, non-emergency community help. This hub is the other stack: city police, campus public safety, 211, county human services, food, shelter, and crisis lines. Read the page for the city or campus you are actually standing in.
Two states, two county systems
Fargo and West Fargo are Cass County, North Dakota. Moorhead and Dilworth are Clay County, Minnesota. 911 works on both sides of the Red River. Food assistance, housing, and many health programs do not copy-paste. If a page is labeled Cass or Clay, believe the label.
- Emergency: 911 in ND and MN
- Information and referral: 211
- Mental-health crisis: 988
- Campus: NDSU, MSUM, Concordia public safety pages
How we chose what to publish
Numbers and URLs here are well-known public contacts we are confident in, or we tell you how to search the official name instead of guessing a phone number. Hours and eligibility change. Confirm on the agency’s own site before you drive across town.
