Neighborhoods the app is actually built around

The metro is not one blob. Broadway is not 52nd Avenue. Center Avenue is not The Lights. These pages name the streets so a search — or a person standing in a parking lot — can tell where they are.

A map with names on it

Help Me matching is local to Fargo–Moorhead. Event calendars are local. Neighborhood pages exist so the product can be attached to Broadway, 19th Avenue North, 52nd Avenue South, Sheyenne Street, and Center Avenue instead of a generic “community app” that could be anywhere.

Live help still shows as a coarse area of about 500 meters — not a pin on a driveway, not a house number. These pages describe the public ground you can actually meet on.

Three cities, a lot of parking lots

Fargo holds downtown, NDSU, West Acres, and the south-side growth around Davies and Osgood. Moorhead holds Center Avenue, two campuses, and south-side streets like Village Green. West Fargo holds Sheyenne Street, The Lights, and the newer additions that keep pushing toward Horace.

Winter is the same winter in all three. Batteries die in mall lots, campus ramps, and cul-de-sacs. A grocery vestibule or a well-lit commercial entrance is still a better meeting point than a dark backyard.

  • Fargo: downtown, north side / NDSU, West Acres, south Fargo, older grid neighborhoods
  • Moorhead: downtown Center Avenue, south Moorhead, Village Green
  • West Fargo: The Lights, Sheyenne Crossing, Shadow Wood, Independence

Adults, public places, official help when it is official

Help Me is a community app for adults. Neighborhood pages near high schools describe the streets, the winter, and the public lots. They are not invitations for minors to meet strangers. School channels and family stay the right path for students who are not adults.

Fargo Police, Moorhead Police, West Fargo Police, campus public safety, and 911 remain the right numbers for danger, crime, and medical emergencies. The app is the neighbor with a current staff-reviewed approval.
