A downtown that is not Broadway
Downtown Moorhead along Center Avenue is smaller than Broadway and easy to skip if you only ever park in Fargo. It is still a real public meeting place: storefronts, city buildings, and the stretch people actually walk. MSUM and Concordia sit minutes south, and students cross the river for food while Fargo residents cross back for class.
Gooseberry Park and the river trail are beautiful. Pick lit, populated ground if you are meeting someone new, and label it in the request.
