Why this is not a neighborhood feed
Group feeds are broadcasts. Help Me is a request shown to helpers nearby, answered by one person, and finished in a private chat. A dead battery does not need a public debate about which shop is best. It needs a charger and ten minutes.
Your address stays yours
You never need to post where you live. Your request shows as a rough area about 500 meters wide. Meet in a public place, share more location only if you want to, and only after someone says yes. You can report or block any member at any time.
What a good ask looks like
Short and specific. Anyone have a USB-C charger? Library, second floor. Where is the entrance to the north building? Two more hands for a futon, Saturday morning, ground floor. You do not owe anyone an explanation, and nobody owes you a yes. A no is a fine answer, and it costs nothing.
Pick a public place for the handoff, and say where. Daylight helps. Keep it quick, say thanks, and mark it done.
