The helper application is the place. You cannot email a photo to this website and skip the app. The application also asks about which small favors you can help with and when you are available. Our team reviews it. Until the review is current, you cannot see or accept requests.
The sentence we will not bury
Identity evidence plus a human decision is not a criminal background check. Help Me does not run one and does not advertise one. If you need a licensed professional, hire one. Help Me is a place to ask your block for the small stuff, and we say so plainly.
Why we still ask
Because the person on the other end is trusting a neighbor with a few minutes. A nameless, unreviewed account should not be able to say yes to a walk from the library. Identity evidence is the minimum. Public meeting places and report and block are the rest. Helpers can apply to be reviewed by our team. Help Me does not run background checks.
