Help MeHelp Me

answer

Does Help Me work outside Fargo–Moorhead?

You can install it anywhere. That is not the same as it being useful anywhere.

Short answer

Help Me is built for the Fargo–Moorhead metro — Fargo and West Fargo in North Dakota, Moorhead and Dilworth in Minnesota, and the towns that commute in. Approved helpers, matching, and the official event calendars are all local. Outside that area the app will install but there is unlikely to be anyone nearby to accept your request.

The facts, in one place

  • Core area: Cass County, ND and Clay County, MN.
  • Matching is geographic — no nearby approved helpers means no offers.
  • Event calendars come from local campuses and Ticketmaster Fargo only.
  • Surrounding-town pages describe the metro people actually drive.

How far the metro really stretches

People in Horace, Harwood, Casselton, Dilworth, Glyndon, Hawley, and Barnesville live inside Fargo–Moorhead’s daily orbit: they work here, study here, and get stuck in the same parking lots. Cities pages exist for those towns because that is where the metro actually ends, not where a county line says it does.

Grand Forks, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, and Wahpeton are a different story — real regional ties, thin helper coverage. Those pages are honest about that.

Why we are not pretending to be national

A help app is only as good as the density of people willing to show up. Claiming national coverage would mean shipping empty maps to strangers. One metro, actually served, is the product.

Questions people actually ask

Can I use it while visiting Fargo?

Yes. If you are in the metro with an iPhone and an account, you can ask like anyone else.

Will other cities be added?

Nothing is announced. When a second metro is real, it will show up on this site, not in a rumor.

Help Me is a community app for adults in Fargo–Moorhead. It is not a K–12 student program, not a youth chat, and not campus police.
