Where Help Me is the wrong door
Visa status, work authorization, taxes, and anything involving immigration law belong to your university’s international student office and to a qualified attorney. Health issues belong to student health. Emergencies are 911 — it is free to call, and using it does not affect your status.

Do I need to pay a helper?
No. There are no payments in Help Me at all, and nobody should ask you for money.
Is Help Me run by my university?
No. It is independent. Campus event calendars are linked with attribution, which is not affiliation or endorsement.
