who it's for
New in town, on purpose
Fargo–Moorhead is easy to like and easy to get stuck in — especially in January, especially if your family is eight hours away.
What to learn first
There are two states here. Fargo and West Fargo sit in Cass County, North Dakota. Moorhead and Dilworth sit in Clay County, Minnesota. 911 still works; county services do not copy-paste across the river.
NDSU is in Fargo. MSUM and Concordia are in Moorhead. M State has a Moorhead campus. Downtown Broadway is the walkable night strip. West Acres is the big mall. Winter is not a metaphor.
Questions people actually ask
Is Help Me only for students?
No. Students are a large part of this metro. Neighbors, newcomers, and families use the same app. Helping still requires a current staff approval.
