Fargo, ND

Lincoln, the central Fargo grid that still has yards

Between the Country Club and University Drive at I-94. Lincoln is the established middle of Fargo: trees, elementary-school streets, and a commute that is short until the car is dead.

Central, not downtown

Lincoln sits in the older south-central grid — Lincoln Elementary, Rabanus Park, a shot at I-94, University Drive as the spine. You can be downtown in minutes. You can also be stuck in a driveway that Google Maps treats as a through-street and a human treats as home.

Help Me is for adults on these blocks. An elementary school nearby does not make the app a pickup-line tool or a way for children to meet strangers. Official school and family channels stay the right path for kids.

Name a public door

A park at noon is one thing. A park after dark is another. Prefer a grocery, Courts Plus if it is open and populated, or another lit entrance you can describe. The live map shows a coarse area, not the house behind the park.

I-94 is close. Tow trucks are not us.

If you are actually on the interstate, call official help. If you are in a lot off University Drive, a jump start from an approved helper is the everyday version. Private chat. Meet in public. Report and block sit one tap away.

Questions people actually ask

Is Lincoln the same as downtown Fargo?

No. Downtown is Broadway and the Theatre. Lincoln is the residential grid south of that, toward I-94 and University Drive.

Can I use Help Me during a school event?

Adults can ask for everyday help. This is not a student meetup. Meet in public, away from school dismissal chaos if you can.

How precise is my location on the map?

About 500 meters until you consent to share more with the helper who accepted. You can keep it coarse and meet at a labeled public place.

Help Me is a community app for adults in Fargo–Moorhead. It is not a K–12 student program, not a youth chat, and not campus police.
