Whether you are a real person, reachable, and accountable for what happens under your name. That is the bar this gate is designed to hold, and it is deliberately not sold as more than it is. No criminal records search runs behind the scenes, and nothing on this site says one does.
What being reviewed looks like
Quiet, mostly. You see requests nearby that fit what you said you can do. You say yes to the ones you can actually get to. You meet in public, finish, both people confirm, and you go back to your day. Nobody is scoring you on volume.

The honest part
Helpers can apply to be reviewed by our team. Help Me does not run background checks. You can report or block any member at any time. Helping is unpaid.

Get Help Me from TestFlight on an iPhone running iOS 15 or later, then sign up with email or Sign in with Apple.

Open the helper application in the app and tell us which small favors you can help with.

Submit identity evidence
Provide the identity evidence the app asks for.

Wait on a review
A person on our team reviews it. There is no auto-approve, and applying is not the same as being reviewed.

Helping needs a current review. Keep it valid to keep seeing requests.
